"My practice comes from a holistic, strength based, cultural humility, and trauma-informed care approach. My goal is to support and empower people in their healing journey."

More than that, however, she is human, and has needed other people to share life’s journey in all its hope and hurt, awe and agony, wonder and wisdom. Her life experiences and 25+ years of experience in social work have left her with a deep understanding of the personal and professional toll life can take on individuals who experience trauma and her particular areas of expertise and interest lie in helping individuals who live with depression, anxiety, or other residual impacts of trauma and those who are experiencing challenges related to early life experiences such as adoption and foster care.

Suvi is also passionate about reconciliation and works intentionally and practically to support the decolonization of social work practice among Indigenous communities.

Suvi is a curious confidante, an energetic cheerleader and a reflective, empathetic witness to people’s experience. Her passion is accompanying people and organizations as they do the hard work of being human and whole, and work to become and remain the best versions of themselves. These are the versions that make the world better.
